Need help setting up my surround sound speakers with a subwoofer.

I've got the Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer (http://www.polkaudio.com/psw10/d/1007)

For the left and right speakers I have the Polk Audio 'Monitor 50s'
Unfortunately I couldn't find them on the Polk Audio site but I found them on eBay being sold by Polk Audio directly.. Don't know why it isn't on their site.
These are the speakers:

This is the back of the speakers:

Finally for the middle speaker I have the Polk Audio 'Model CS1'
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290212
The above link points to the CS2 version but its pretty much the same speaker. Has the same inputs on the back.

I really want to get this setup and I don't think I need to get a receiver.

I was told the subwoofer is the power source and the receiver for the other speakers by a friend of mine.. I don't know much about sound setups to confirm this but it seems he does. I'm using an aux cable to RCA (White and red)

I'm sorry I can't be more clear about everything. Any help is greatly appreciate. Thank you

I appreciate your input, but this doesn't help me much. I went ahead and googled what a 'sound recover' is and didn't really find anything. Can you please help me out further?
