I was on the fence over the weekend looking at these, and almost bought 2 of these for $350 each. Now the price is up to $389. Is there anything comparable to the battery life/CPU of this Haswell i3?

Or regardless this went up $40, it's still a good deal? Thanks...

I need one to be in the 15" range for my wife, but the other I can deal with 11.6" if available.

I plan to upgrade to a SSD and add memory down the line here as well. I read they only have a 2.4Ghz WiFi card, but I can up grade that later as well.

Seems like a decent laptop. At $350 it was a pretty good price. $390 seems to be close to the price it is sold everywhere else for $400. I don't think you are going to get anything comparable to the Core i3. AMD CPUs are generally weaker and consumers more power.

One more I was looking at. I can't find much on the Chip here, other than it pulls 15w like a Haswell and claimed 8 hours battery life. For me I am wanting to replace a Chromebook, wife is replacing a problem laptop that is overheating daily.
