My laptop was just over 4 years old when the charging adapter started beeping the other day. After searching, I found that one of the transistors failed on the motherboard near where the power source connects. I will most likely slap in another 615280-001 motherboard, but I was wondering if I should also be concerned about the charger and replace it too? Could it have caused the transistor to fail?
