ACER is giving highest battery backup in this range ! but i hv seen people preferring hp and dell over acer and lenovo. How is acer build quality ? should i consider acer ?

another thing is should i prefer a windows preloaded system over a dos system ?

Solution
This is the starting performance laptop with power saving core-i5 processor: Acer Aspire E1-572 Laptop But I'm not aware of acer laptops and their after sales support.

You might increase your budget and fix the final price once in for all.

Best brand is really a personal choice. Dell has better support than HP, even dell has the best customer support compared to other laptop manufacturers in India. HP has longer battery life and lesser priced laptops. I had friends with both HP and dell laptops along with problems. It's really depend upon personal experience. Also, I have friends with lenovo laptops, Lenovo laptops are enriched with more features like one touch recovery, etc.

Ok thanks for replying :) .I have seen the 2 models you have given :) .But is there any problem with the ones i have mentioned ?

In HP 15-R074TU i am getting 1 TB HDD at a lower price :p .Does it has any heating, battery ,bad build quality or any other issues like that ?

AND what about DELL INSPIRON 15-3542 with lower space ? .just asking :p .I would definitely go with the models you had told.

and another thing i have found one asus model too.Can you please now tell me which one would be better ?

asus -

dell-INSPIRON 15 3542(1 TB or 500 GB)

HP-PAVILION 15-R062TU/PAVILION-R074TU

LENOVO-http://www.snapdeal.com/product/lenovo-essential-g5070-59413724-laptop/938891074#Technical

Apart from these If you can suggest any model in the price range 30k-35k it would be of great help.

I gave these models as choices only. And i need to do hardcore software devloping,Matlab,CAD softwares but not hardcore gaming.

Omit the Asus laptop, it has 3rd gen i3 processor. you really have to choose between the Dell and HP. But both comes with "Ubuntu" OS. 1 TB vs 500 GB has nothing to do with heat, power consumption issues. It is the ability of that manufacturer to provide customer with such facility at a certain price. 'd go with Dell for more storage.

OK I am omitting the asus one .I will stick to HP or DELL .

Now i heard from a local store guy that in these low end inspiron models of dell especially the dos ones dell is giving only one slot for ram :( .That means if i want to expand my ram to 8gb/16gb i have to buy one ram of 16 gb :( .Is it true ? Is it will be a problem in terms of price ?

And another thing what about about the lenovo ones ? just for knowledge !

thanks again ! :)

Ok ! Now to finalize which one should I go for ? Hp or DELL ? I have seen several review videos in youtube on Hp 15 r series and DELL both .
Both are very close.

Comparisn:
Both having glare HD LED display which is bad :( .

And also DELL doesnt have any indicator except the battery indicator whereas HP has both hdd and battery indicators !

HP's laptop case is totally glossy build material .DELL has matte finish nearby keyboard. Both are actually plastic based.

dont know about the battery though because didnt get the info on battery anywhere.

So which one would be good ?

And in a previous post you have mentioned these are not performance laptops.Yes i agree :( .But can you suggest me any performance laptop in 30k-35k ? or i have to increase my budget ? .
