More RAM doesn't usually increase performance in gaming if you already have 8GB. The difference between 8 and 16GB may not even be noticeable on most titles, or in fact, any titles that don't expressly require 16GB of which there are very few currently.

If it says 2*8GB then it should have 16GB and after looking at the unit I would say yes, it does. It also has the GT840M GPU which for a laptop is fairly capable and will be able to run most game titles currently available at decent settings although it does have a 1920x1080 resolution so you may have to run some titles at medium or lower settings depending on how demanding the game.

The CPU is a relatively low performance dual core 2Ghz i7 which isn't great, but for a notebook...

All in all, Lenovo has become one of the better laptop brands and have pretty good customer service so I'd say that depending on price it might be a very good choice.

Don't buy a tablet if you want to game, they suck. You won't game on a tablet worth a damn if at all.
