HDMI cable issues

I connected my hp laptop with windows 7 to my panasonic viera LCD tv through an HDMI cable. It worked well twice but after my NVIDIA was updated it stopped working. Now there is no display or sound. The HDMI cable is working fine with other devices and tv detects those devices but not the laptop. i have tried almost everything but nothing seems to work. I changed the display settings and everything. The laptop detects the TV too but no display.

i think there is some problem with your nvidia driver......try troubleshooting it

Nope. Checked that too. Updated and it's working fine!

there is a key on your laptop that should be saying multiple display or must have an icon of 2 screens....also have you tried going into the screen resolution menu and then changing your display options:

try going to tv settings and than set the tv to receive signal from pc or HDMI
