Asus laptop problem

Hi everyone

Recently my laptop stopped charging and I thought the problem was in the DC jack until I took the laptop to a repair shop after he replaced the jack he told me there was another problem he offered to keep the laptop and search for the problem but I refused and the laptop is now sitting like a corpse on my desk
The question is : where is the problem?

mmm it might be problems with battery or it might be the charger? moe the charger abti apply pressure around it if it works then it might be the charger is bad?

Nope he tried a charger of his own, the DC jack is new I don't want to break it,the battery is good even if I take it off the laptop still doesn't charge

I also have the issue and had the charger and cord replaced. What I was told though there is a part inside the computer where the plug gets plugged into that may need to be sauntered. They checked it out and that was fine, but what it was is the little pin in the inside of the plug receiver. Apparently there is no way to fix that little fine pin. Apparently its like attached to the mother board and can fall of really easily. They told me to keep it plugged in and not to pull it out because that weakens the pin. One day it just wont' take a charge. pretty much toast. I am taking mine to one more place for a second opinion. Can't afford a new one.
