Solution Phillip Corcoran Oct 11, 2014 Turn laptop off. Press & hold the zero key (0). Press power button. Laptop should enter recovery mode. Alternatively, you can boot your laptop from the first of the recovery discs which you should have made when the laptop was working okay.
