Which one I should follow?

I always use my laptop all day (from 10 am to 10 pm). What should I do?
1) Keep my laptop plugged in always.
2) Charge it to 80%, unplug, discharge it to 30%, charge up again and repeat.

Charge battery to 80%, take out battery.

And then keep it plugged in forever.

That way the battery life will be preserved.

Keep it plugged in. Although battery tend to only last 2 to 3 years, the tech is lithium ion which does not suffer from the dreaded battery memory from the old days.
