Best Headphone and Mic combo under $100

I was looking at getting a new headset for gaming, but many people said to look at headphones and separate mic for better quality.
For headphones I was looking at either the Samson SR850 or the Audio Technica ATH m30x.
For microphone I was looking at either the Zalman ZM Mic1, or the Olympus Me-52w (due to its noise cancellation)
Can you guys recommend any other options? Preferably under $80 however will go up to $100.

The Audio Technica and Zalman option would be good, they're both great at what they do. http

under $100 you might be better off just buying a headset. over $100 its definitely better to go seperates because of markup and quality differences.

under $80 and you're definitely looking at a headset.

the zm-1 clipon isnt terrible but since its omnidirectional will pick up all noises around you. with propper placement it should be adequate though.

the ath-m30's really arent bad headphones but pale in comparision to the m50's. i own the m50s and gifted m30s a few years ago.

So would you recomend the m30x's or the sr850's? Becasue many people say the sr850's perform on par with even the m50's?
