Replacing cracked screen on a VAIO vpcs111fms. I ordered a replacement screen. The back light turns on and a series of bars appear. Sometimes a black screen with a single horizontal line and then sometimes blue with multiple black lines similar to a tall barcode covering the whole screen. I reattached the old screen and was successful at viewing the old screen. But after reattaching the new I was unsuccessful. The new screen appears to be the same. I fear it is Chinese junk unfortunately. Thoughts? Am I missing something like a key combo to reset the new screen or just return and hope the next one works?
