Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 not Responding

right now vegas 12 is running in background
but it's not f**king responding -_-
i've done alot of work without saving suddenly i put a picture it's not responding
i can't close it i've done alot of work
how can i make it respond without closing it

Not sure this will help but have you tried Ctrl+Alt+Delete and going to task manager? Once there you can click on the program and not choose to end task. Then simply exit task manager. I know it sounds odd but on a rare occasion I have had that work when a program is not responding. Other than that I don't know what you can do except close the program and hope autosave saved the most recent edit before Vegas stopped responding. I hope someone can offer you a solution that won't involve you losing the changes you have made.
