please I can't find my camera as I newly installed a windows 8 but it is installed and i skype and other video call but can't

i have an hp pavilion dm4 and I recently changed the hard drive and all new drives installed with windows 8 and up till now can't locate the camera on my laptop to take pics..How do I go about it?

On it's site, HP doesn't appear to support Win* for this model or have the drivers. Generally, Windows 8 will find or have the drivers it needs to run any reasonably new system. But occasionally non critical hardware, like Cameras, Win8 will not have the correct driver for it. Go to HP forums on their web site to see if someone else had done the same & found a solution - or if you can find out who actually makes the camera, goto that companies website.
