I've been looking around for a new laptop that I can do some gaming on as well as school work. I've narrowed it down to three choices: the Dell XPS 13, the Lenovo Y40, and the Lenovo Y50.

The XPS is an i5 with 128GB SSD as well as 1920x1080 touchscreen display. It had an Intel HD 4400 graphics card and an Intel 7160 Wireless chip (which is better than the other choices). This laptop has a backlit keyboard. The price for this is $899.

The Y40 has an i7 processor and an AMD Radeon M275 2GB graphics card. It's display, though 1920x1080, is dim, a little washed out, and doesn't have great viewing angles. It comes with 256GB SSD and an Intel Wireless 3160 card. This doesn't have a backlit keyboard, and is not touchscreen. Price: $809

The Y50 is a fifteen inch gaming laptop with a NVIDIA Geforce 860M and is quad-core. The screen, like the Y40, isn't great. It is a hybrid 1TB drive with the same wireless card as the Y40. It has a backlit keyboard and is not a touchscreen. Price: $1099

Overall, I'm not sure which laptop to get. I'm willing to go up to $1,050 (the Y50 exceeds this budget, though slightly). I'm looking for something that I can do school work on, as well as run games on medium to high settings.
