My TV has been turning off by itself for about 9 months, about once every couple of months unplugged it and the tv works fine. Then last night it did it twice within in 2 hours, still worked fine. Then the 3rd time it would not come back on for about 30 minutes, then it would stay on for 5 minutes, after that happened a few times I went to bed and the tv is on when I woke up this morning it was on and it has been working for about 4 hours with no problems. Dose anybody have any idea what the problem was? I called Samsung they were no help. Just wondering if I should buy a new TV or this was a isolated Issue?

Hello... Your PS board sounds suspect... get the number on the board and do EBAY for price options. They are really EASY to plug and screw a new one in.
Inspect the connections to your PS board.
Inspect your power cord to it, for damage or try a new one.

Agreed. Sounds as though your set's power supply is on the way out. Depending on how old your set is, it may be better to buy a new one rather than try to repair it yourself or have it repaired professionally. The only way you're going to know what the problem is for sure is to take it somewhere at have it inspected.
