Hello,

I am a exchange student from Belgium living in the US for 1 year and I'm looking for a cheap gaming laptop since I will have to take it back in Belgium and thus won't be able to get a desktop one.

1. What is your budget?

The cheapest possible but not more than 700-800 $.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

From 15 to 17".

3. What screen resolution do you want?

At least 1024x768.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Desktop replacement I guess, I don't get it.

5. How much battery life do you need?

I don't care since it will always be on charge.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

This laptop should be able to run games like WoW, Diablo 3, LoL, Hearthstone, Minecraft, and Runescape in high details. I won't play games like Assassin's Creed or other new games nor fps games (maybe TF2).

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Browsing the Internet, nothing more.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

I don't care.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

Amazon will probably be the easiest but I don't mind using another web site.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

At least one year.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

DVD ROM would be nice but a lot of games are downloadable on Steam or other platforms.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

I think that I should avoid HP or DELL since some of my friends told me that they were bad.

13. What country do you live in?

USA

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

I already searched for some laptops and found:

Acer Aspire V3-572G-54S6 15.6" / i5-4210U (1.7GHz) / GeForce 840M 2GB DDR3 / 8 GB DDR3

Acer Aspire V3-772G-5413 17.3" / i5-4210M (2.6GHz) / GeForce 850M / 8 GB DDR3

I don't know if they are too much for what I am searching or if it is what I need ?

Thank you and have a nice day ! :)
