I have had this happen a few years ago, my headset will randomly pop while I am in game or watching a movie on my PC. Never my speakers when doing the same things, but there was something that I did a few years back when I had this issue, and now I cannot recall what it was.

I have a new set of the Siberia Blue Steelseries headset, and the random popping is driving me bat-crap crazy! Please help!

It is most-likely that you're not making a solid connection, usually at the plug-in point of contact. If you twist the headset jack and get more popping, then you want to try to carefully clean the connection points of contact.
However, if you get popping from moving the cord around then you're probably developing a short in the line.
Its definitely a frustration.!! And, cleaning is tricky since you don't want to leave any residue or particulate matter either.

But, see if you can determine whether its the connect or the line first. Hope this helps some.
Let us know how you fare.!

That is the issue... These are USB connected. There is no sign of corrosion or anything of that nature. I will try to clean them I may also try using the extension that came with the headset. I thought it was not needed since I am well within reach of my tower, but then again I do not recall this popping when they were plugged into the extension now that it has been discussed!

Thank you truly for your input! I will reply later with my findings!
