.
1. What is your budget?
Prefer it to be below SGD 1200 (But higher price is negotiable and there is always SALES or IT Fair)

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
No preference, since it will be in my room most of the time.

3. What screen resolution do you want?
No Preference, as long as it supports me in watching my Online and Downloaded videos. But of cause, the higher the better.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
What do you mean? LOL, but I think destop replacement laptop, since I don't like using Destop.

5. How much battery life do you need?
Not Essential, since most of the time, I will plugged off my laptop battery and connect it to the wire instead.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I don't really play games, as long as it support facebook games. All cool.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Purpose? Web-browsing, I like opening multi-tabs. at most up to 4. ; Downloading of School Documents to edit and do ; VIDEOS, I watch tons of animes/dramas/movies. ; iTunes?

That is about it if i go online..

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
You mean HDD from laptop? I am not really sure, my existing one has a cap of 91 gb in C drive and 19 gb in D drive. I am not really using them per say so anything is alright. But of cause, my downloaded stuffs go to my External Hardisk instead :O!

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I am not buying from Online Sites but going to Retail shop to buy. Of cause, Retail shop like Apple/Challenger/Courts, whichever place offering laptop is alright.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
The longer the better? I don't intend to keep changing every few years. My current laptop has a shelve life of approx 5 to 6 years. So I'm looking into one that last this long too.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Any drive that is able to read those Anti-virus Drives / Installation Drives... (Dramas etc)

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
No Specific Brands, the only brand I know is Fujitsu, Customer Support is good but their laptop cost $SGD 2000 plus -_-!"

13. What country do you live in?
Singapore

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
Oh I am looking to any laptop that is trustworthy and with good customer service support.

Additionally... you should also consider what support options are available in your area. If say you buy something abroad, will you be able to have it fixed near where you live? Does the warranty apply? How quickly do local accredited technicians fix laptops?

Just tell me the brands, I will check it out. I am checking Leveno 1st, but before anything the price is important lol... I don't really mind outdated laptop, say I am buying a laptop that is out last year? It really does not matter to me, as long as it serves the end purpose of web-browsing, ease of using for school hmwk usage and the convenience of watching dramas etc.

of cause, I am always downloading videos, so if internet have always been good with my current laptop, i hope it continue to be good in the new laptop.

PS : I know i posted a thread before, but people did not read :( and give me solutions that is not beneficial. Hopefully this thread rectified some of the purpose I am using the laptop for... hoping to hear good advise now :(!

I looked at your other thread. You asked for brand recommendations, and you were given quite a few. Even a number of links to product pages. Maybe you should go back to that one, and let them know more details so they can provide you with better advice? They can't know that their advice wasn't helpful if you don't tell them that.
