Basically just bought a Lenovo Z50-70

and was wondering whether the laptop was good or not.
Honestly I don't know what to ask, it's not a bad cpu, I checked via benchmarks, it beats my old laptop yet it encounters the SAME problem, whenever I'm listening to audio on any application of any sort - YouTube, Winamp, Music, if I open a new tab on Chrome or something, it will stutter and the tab will open slowly which I'm guessing is due to CPU.
So what am I missing out?
Please anyone help!
Thanks,

EDIT:
Ah sorry for the late response!
Well the thing is it happened with my old laptop where I sat literally 30cm from the router, now I sit upstairs (it's downstairs and quite far) and it happens either way, it happens whether I'm on the internet or not, it just seems that my CPU spikes and audio lags although my parents have a laptop that its at least 4 years old and no such problem occurs so I'm clueless.
My wifi is Virgin Media at 50mpbs so when I sit downstairs, my wifi is fast and it doesn't happen to anyone else in my family so any suggestions?
I'll try the DNS server and report back along with sitting downstairs with my new laptop!
Thanks guys!

Sounds more like a poor ISP connection that has speed issues when streaming. Have you checked your connection speeds (upload/download rates)? Are you running cable or are you using wireless?

Then it is either the wifi module if other devices can connect to videos or for some reason your room slows down the wifi. That may sound weird but it can happen depending on how far the router can emit its signal or what the walls are made up of.

Changed my DNS to use Google's along with OpenDNS, I restarted my laptop and am not sitting literally 60cm away from my router and the problem is still here, I have no clue why this is happening to a new laptop.

I have a feeling it is either your wifi module in your laptop which is very weak for some reason or it is not able to get a good signal from the router. Unfortunately I am not an expert in wifi issues so someone else maybe able to help you with this.

It has 0% regardless of whether I open a new tab or whatever aha.
Also could it be that both laptops, my old Acer Aspire and this one have bad wifi modules? When I'm near the router, I get the full 50mpbs so I doubt it but I have no knowledge.
Thanks

It's maybe the walls or the distance in that case as the problem only occurs whenever you get out of the room. Try long distances with no walls interruptions. Also try with a better router

I also have a Lenovo Z50 with 8gb RAM, 1000Gb disk and AMD A8 CPU, Windows 8. It is a piece of shit and I really regret buying it.
Everything is slow, much worse than my 5 year old Acer Aspire that I replaced that was cheaper when I bought it new.

The same thing as described above happens to my Lenovo. Opening another program while f.example listening to a youtube video (chrome) makes the audio stutter. Just now I tried opening Lightroom and the entire thing stopped working completely for about 1 minute, could'nt even move the mouse pointer.

Will try to return it to the place I bought it next monday, but they'll probably refuse taking it back... Never Lenovo again!
