Need second opinion on school/gaming laptop

Budget range: under $700
Purpose (netbook, ultraportable, mainstream, gaming, desktop replacement, etc.): Gaming and school
Screen size preference: 15.6 or lower
OS preference (Windows/ Mac/ Linux): Windows
Gaming requirements (example games and desired fps/settings): CS GO 60 fps on medium/high
Performance requirements (video, CAD, etc.): Just browsing internet. Youtube, twitch and reddit
Method of computer support (office supplier, college bookstore, self support): Self support
Brand preferences and reasons (already owned accessories, familiarity, business compatibility): Pretty much the full spectrum enterprise stuff to budget
Any particular style that you like (examples are great): Would prefer non plastic build
Which of the following qualities would you prefer? (Choose one, the other, or balanced)
Long battery life -vs- Low weight: Long life
Build quality -vs- Low price: Build quality
Low noise/heat -vs- High performance: Performance
Would you pay a premium for something that has:

I would like to second the laptop mentioned by rockie_ as I have an asus and it is great for gaming and school work.
