acer 7560-sb416 windows 7 was up for months without reboot. I had to shut it down to load new software when it did windows took over and said installing updates 1 of 57 3 hours later when i truned my system back on i got no operating system found I took the drive out and plugged it into my other sys. and the files are in a second partition and the 0 partition has 100 mb and is called system reserved
so i saved all o my files and did the ctrl-f10
it saved iles and restored OS when it rebooted i still got No operating system found.... I bought a new HDD and retored from the rescue cd's and got no bootable drives exist (bios see's new drive ) while checking it oout on the other sys the new drive doesnt have the100 meg partition but all the obvious files or windows 7
