I would say both laptops should be ok assuming that you don't do anything intensive with them like photo editing in your studying. As for games lol will be playable on low settings on the lenovo and hp but it may struggle to multi task due to the low amount of ram. Personally i would go with the lenovo as it has a better cpu and gpu which should enable the laptop to do a bit of gaming without running out of steam later on in the future.
