Hey guys, so, this is my first post in months since I got my laptop. Well, two days ago I was sick in the hospital and left my laptop at home. After being discharged I opened my laptop at home only to find that the screen was absolutely showing nothing, not even backlight. So I asked my sister what she did while I was at the hospital, and she said after an hour on facebook, she started up NFS MW and next thing you know, the ping sound and it's dead.I tried starting the laptop several times.
After 3 hours or so, I booted it up again and it magically booted correctly and I was able to get back to my business. I noticed one odd thing though, the dedicated graphics wasn't showing. Checked HWinfo for temp readings, nu-uh, it wasn't there. Tried looking at CCC as well, nope. Device manager? Nope. I'm not sure if the graphics was fried or what, because even before that happened the peak temperature was 73 degrees celsius and idle was at about 40 degrees celsius. I have an AMD A8 5550M and HD 8550g + HD 8670M
Can I do anything or should I just send it back for warranty?

Solution
I'd normally suggest you back up everything first and attempt a clean windows install, but since it's still under warranty I suggest you bring it for warranty and let them fix it for you (although you'd still clean everything it in case there's sensitive data)

Well, guys.. I'm checking in from HWinfo and CCC and somehow the dedicated graphics is magically up and running. Temps between CPU and GPU have also increased as even while I'm just browsing the net my temps while plugged in are 57 degrees celsius. Though while on battery, as I'm writing right now, temps are just above 42 degrees celsius. Can you give me an idea of what's going on and whether I should still send it back to warranty?
