My GF bought the Acer V3-771G-53216G50BDCaii 17.3'' Laptop 18 months ago.
Specs:
i5 3210M @2.5GHz Turbo Boost 3.1GHz
4 GB RAM
Nvidia GT 630M
17''

So a few months ago it started lagging up in all the games she tried to play, after only a few minutes in.
We checked everything and HWinfo showed the CPU was overheating, reaching 100°C and starting to throttle. We decided to open it up and see if there's any dust clogging up the vent.
We used an youtube guide to open it up properly however at the end we couldn't remove the Mobo even after removing all the screws (you can only get to the cpu and vent after removing the mobo).
Is it possible that the plastic melted causing it to stick to the case?

After that we tried using ThrottleStop for lowering multiplier and disabling TurboBoost but it didn't help lowering the temperature.

Any help/suggestions highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
