I'd like to find out the best or atleast one of the best headphones for under £100, Preferably ones good for gaming and music. I'm going to get a separate mic.

Solution
They're great for that price especially if you like to have a bit more bass. I even saw them regularly on several recommended lists.

And with the leftover money you can get a decent soundcard - Soundblaster Titanium HD /if you feel lucky on ebay, as it is kinda rare to score one for a good price... well... being kinda rare sucks and rises the prices.../ or a Soundblaster Z /I like the HD more/.
Asus Xonar is a decent choice too, but they are better for music and movies than games...

As for integrated sound... Try it this way - get a large pot and place it over your speakers /if you have any at hand/. That should kinda emulate the sound an integrated sound card sounds like compared to a dedicated one /without the pot covering them/ :D

for games and music /and some bass/
if you have an amp or a good soundcard - beyerdynamic DT990
also, if you like, you can go with a pair of senn 558's /good details but close to no bass/ or cal2 /jack of all trades/...

for music /and games/
rock - grado, bass - sony mdr-xb series, techno and electronica - ultrasone...

btw - you should really spend more than £20-30 on some headphones only if you have a decent sound card /or plan to get one/. in case you're going to use integrated soundcrap, there won't be much of a difference between audiophile grade £1000 headphones and random £20 tesco grade crap.

Okay. I don't have a sound card right now, and I was looking at some headphones called the samson sasr850c's. I don't think my integrated sound is that bad, I have a asus P8Z77-V motherboard which uses realtek.

Any headphone ideas for 50-100? Just ones that are good for gaming and also music, as I play lots of modern music like electro and dubstep while I play games, thanks.

From personal point of view - creative aurvana live. Had them once and they were awesome for games. Also they had a bit more bass, so I guess that should help a little bit with dubstep too.
Or, if you really like bass /and I mean like playing earthquake with your brain strong bass/ you should look for mdr-xb500. they are kinda discontinued by now, but you can always get a nice deal around 50-80 quid on-line. But then again a lot of bass is distracting when playing games /clarity matters a bit more, imho./
