That particular laptop is running on hardware that's around seven years old. That's old enough to put it way behind in performance compared to hardware now, and while I don't know what your normal computer is (though it would be nice to know to give you more accurate information) it's probably unlikely that there is any real way to improve performance on your laptop to be comparable.

At BEST, you're running a Core Duo T7500, which is four major architecture revisions old, with 1 GB of RAM (unless more has been added) Sadly, it's probably time to look into replacing with a new laptop if possible, given the current machine's unsatisfactory performance.

Hi "AND" Thank YOU "viewtyjoe" :)

Yes Joe :( , i had thought that the computer was of no use the second that i bought it... :( BUT :( me being the brains.. emm :(

I just bought the computer, as i needed it to take notes, it was...emm :( it was JUST ok with that... BUT i should have bought from a computer store.. "INSTEAD" of taking ideas form the "gentleman" that fixes my computer, emm :(

AGAIN Think You "Viewtyjoe" for your over all ideas and recommendations (as in bin it, hee :) ) and purchase a NEW laptop, which will be up dated, AND has a good "viewers" list beside it, to get the over all "+ and -" of the purchase :)

Thank YOU and God BLESS You Viewtyjoe :)

Nothing you can do about it. It's not worth to repair it. Get an asus laptop they are always with a good quality even if aren't with high specs. And to choose one wisely please make a new thread in this forum so we could compare them and give you the best option to buy.
