For anyone that has seen or owned a dell inspirion 3000 laptop. They look very flimsy and plastic are they? Do you enjoy the laptop and how long has it lasted you?

Solution
Just to me, from what I can tell it's a very basic consumer value notebook. Missing some key features that even your typical retail buyer would like. The two I just looked at do have the touch screen feature though, which pointlessly drives prices up for nothing other than to say "oooh, I can prompt things by touching the screen"

For anyone that isn't into gaming or some other graphically intensive hobby, I'd say it will suffice and isn't much better or worse than anything else for that price point. Lifespan? Two to four years before everything in it is horribly outdated
