I am going to 2 computers, but I want all the details first, so i can happily play minecraft or gmod smoothly. This is the computer, HP Pavilion 17.3" Laptop Computer - AMD Elite Quad-Core A8-5550M / 4GB DDR3 / 750GB Hard Drive / Anodized Silver / Windows 8

http://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-17-3-Laptop-Computer/...

This is my secondary choice, if this is more powerful than the 1st one, I will buy this one
Lenovo G50 15.6-Inch Laptop (80E3005NUS) Black AMD A8-6410 2.0 GHz Processor
6 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen
Windows 8.1, 6-hour battery life

http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-15-6-Inch-Laptop-80E3005NU...

Please if you can tell me which one is more powerful for gaming, I would really appreciated!

HP Pros:
- Faster Processor (2.1GHz vs 2.0GHz)
- Larger Screen (15.6in. vs 17.3in.)
- Larger Resolution (1366x768 vs 1600x900)
- Faster Turbo Speed (2.4GHz vs 3.1GHz)
- More L2 Cache: 4MB vs 2MB

Lenovo Pros:
- 2GB more RAM
- 250GB More Storage
- Windows 8.1 instead of Windows 8 (Windows 8.1 is less buggy)
- More Portable (Smaller)
- Stays Cooler (lithography)
- Lower Power Consumption

Summary: Lenovo is better for if you want to run a low end server but if you want optimal performance on games the HP one is better. The RAM of the HP one might hold it back but you can easily upgrade that while a laptop processor is extremely hard to upgrade. (Lenovo has a less powerful processor) Also, if you plan to use this laptop on the go a lot the Lenovo wins because of it being smaller and taking up less power.

The HP laptop has the more power AMD APU.

The A8-6410 APU is a low power consumption APU and it is based on the Puma core architecture which a the successor to the Jaguar core. There APUs (known as Beema and Mullins) are generally geared towards tablets and entry level notebooks. Therefore, it has lower performance than the A8-5550m APU.

Here's a 3rd option, the 15.6" Lenovo ThinkPad E545. It has the same A8-5500m APU in the 17" HP, but only a 1366x768 resolution screen. It sells for $479 + free shipping.

It is not 7.8lbs, that must be the shipping weight. It weighs in at around 2.37kg or 5.2lbs. See below for a review for the A10-5750m version. Other than the APU and the performance specific to the A10 APU, everything else should be the same.
