how to fix acer aspire 4920 laptop plugin not charging and wont work if battery remove

Good evening to all

I'm a bit lost here

Don't know what to do

My problem is my laptop wont charge but it says plug-in, not charging.
I've tried to remove the battery and plugin it directly but it wont boot the OS it continually reset boot only showing bios and logo then it reset again.

your laptop motherboard is probably at fault. have a laptop technician take a look.

That answer really didnt seem very helpful to the poor fellow...It sounds like your charging circuit may be at fault, those little components on the motherboard can't be bought separately and need special tools to be repaired, your computer will not work without the motherboard being replaced unfortunately, if you are low on funds, try finding a used, but working replacement motherboard on eBay, just type in your computer model, or even better, if you know what model your motherboard is, type that in and try to find a suitable replacement

I have an Acer Aspire 5334, my battery light came on saying it is recommended you replace your battery, so I ordered on, charged it for 8 hours as suggested on the booklet that came with it, then it says battery not detected. so I have a Windows driver cd that I had ordered from ebay last year to update drivers on my grand daughters laptop, I put it in this one and updated the drivers, and the old battery is working , fully charged. still has not recognized the new one i bought. but I am hanging on to it incase something else comes up concerning the battery, but as of 3 hours ago the old battery is working and not red light coming up saying to replace it.. so before you spend all kinds of money on new battery, new mother board etc. I suggest updating your drivers, the windows driver cd I bought on ebay was less than 5.00 hope this helps.
