There could be a few things causing this:

1. Background process - Make sure that you don't have a lot of background process running while your game is running
2. Start up programs - These will start every time your laptop starts and will run eating the ram when you are playing the game. Turn off any that is not needed
3. Anti virus - Some anti virus software are resource hogs, if you find that it is taking a lot of ram, then choose a lighter one

You could try and put it on a cooling pad and see if its happening. I don't think its hardware related as the gtx 860m is quite strong enough to play the games you have mentioned. Try the above and get back to me

it still lags
i am playing this game on high settings.

Do you have the latest drivers? Otherwise it is likely the game is corrupted somehow.

yup i have latest drivers
and yeah one thing i dont use cooling pad while playing game.
heating causes the problem ???

Try that but I don't think that is the reason. I have played battlefield 3 on my laptop and had no problem with it and it has worser specs than yours. What settings are you playing the games at?

that's normal for watch dogs as it's very bad optimized, the 880m only renders 35fps and the 870m 31fps.

That is very strange for battlefield as it should be able to handle this. Does this happen when you run the game at the lowest setting for battlefield?

in watch dog i set texture to high and everything in graphics to medium but still i got 22-34 fps

I had that problem too ,but I found out how to fix it , windows update are causing that problem so my advice for you is Install the windows again and go to the windows update center and change the update settings to "never check for updates".
I played some games in max (ultra & veryhigh) settings:
Thief (2014): 30-45 FPS
Assassins Creed IV BlackFlag: 25-30 FPS
Need For Speed Rivals: 30-32 FPS


The temp of CPU goes around 56*c - 59*c
ps I use a external cooler (Deep Cooler multicore x6)

Try it and tell me if that works for you too.

i am playing black flag now days and fps is 25-35 on high setting and reinstalling windows is necessary???

If you have lag while playing games try playing them with Ac adaptare plugged in , if that doesn't help I recommend to reinstall windows

Windows 7 64BIT ultimate , it doesn't matter if it is 2GB you can play every game at high and ultra settings and you still will get 20-25 FPS;
If you are using pirate games try using the BlackBox edition ( http/blackboxrepack.com/ ) because they req. less performance and you still will get wonderful gaming experience.

Hey, my friend has lenovo y50 also. He was lagging a lot. The problem was that his laptop was in power saver/ energy star mode. I simply changed it to High Performance and no more lag. Hope it helps for someone.
