Guys ....!! Help me out!!
So I own the Lenovo Y510p with a single gt 750m... Not over clocked, 8gigs ram, and the 4700mq processor... Plugged in and the FPS is great and suddenly you change to battery it goes wayyyy loww...!!! Need help guys..
Did change to High Performance mode in Battery savings, forced every game to run on the 750m and changed the setting in Nvidia control to Prefer maximum performance and tried in all the Driver controller, prefer consistent performance and everything still no use.

Solution

the only thing you can do is get a portable source of energy that can power your device's without restriction. I don't think there are any laptop batteries that can do that, maybe some external portable source? it wouldn't last much anyway. Maybe enough for AC power to come back for when there are black outs (unless you are looking for house-sized power plants)

Bullshit!! I bought a gaming laptop to game on the go!
I especially hate it when I am gaming on AC and the electricity goes.. That's just crap..sudden drop of FPS you just can't live with stuttering.

What would have happened if you had bought a desktop instead? Atleast you have the opportunity to close and keep on with your light intensive tasks
