The laptop with the 870M for sure like firo40 suggested. It's one of the best newer mobile GPU's on the market!

I think the FANGBOOK EVO HX6-200 GAMING NOTEBOOK is the best choise because it costs 846£ and has a 870M 2GB, while the FANGBOOK EVO HX7-100 GAMING NOTEBOOK costs 913£ and has a 870M with an overkill of 6GB DDR5 memory and 8GB less RAM memory than the HX6-200. The rest is not mentioned because they have lower en cards if compared to the 870M.

Well, what exactly do you mean?

You said he "has the right" - what does it have to do with my suggestion? I said that he should consider some more cost effective solutions and not just spend it all just because he can.

You seem to miss the point, you suggested a cheaper product that doesn't meet OP's requirements. Yeah, we don't know OP's reqs because he didn't say anything for that regard, but I am pretty sure that if he linked systems with an 870m or an 860m is because that's what he's looking for.

Let me put this simple: You go buy groceries and the guy behind the register asks you to leave some stuff because he thinks they are not necessary and you can save some money by leaving them.

thanks for all the responses, i am really looking for the best value solution. im looking for something that isnt going to have a problem running all the latest games. i automatically looked for the highest gpu i could to stretch to but if there are cheaper almost very good options i would be interested. im coming from a macbook pro which wont really run anything at all.

the difference in perfomance between the 850m, 860m, 870m and 880m are pretty high. Pretty much 20 (at the slightest) to 50 (at the strongest) percent.
There's a 50% and 100$ gap from the 850m and the 860m
There's a 30% and 200$ difference from the 860m and the 870m
And finally, a ~20% (It's generally 10 or 15, but there's a weird 30% difference in some games) difference from 870m to 880m for 300$ (it's actually 200, but somehow prices always end up 300$ higher)

take the 850m as 100% base, the 860m is 150% faster. The 870m is ((150%/100)*30)+150% = 195%. The 880m is 195%+((195%/100)20%) = 234%

100%/234%*100 = 42,73% = 850m's perfomance when 880m is base

*NOTE: Initial percentages aren't actually accurate. These are my own estimations from what I've seen.

Now there's your math. I'd say 850m or higher is considered okay for modern games and 840m for casual gaming at modest prices)

What's your budget OP? and what specs are you exactly looking for?

My max would be around £1000. I'd properly be looking at a 860m or 870m. Try and get as much ram as possible and maybe 1tb drive aswell

Can you ask their support if the 4GB 860m is maxwell/kepler? Both can have 4GB vram but maxwell is better. Go for the one that's maxwell

what about this asus? ive looked at videos of he fangbooks and the fans are very loud. someone I work with has a version of this asus but a cheaper one. has a nice big hdd and 8gb ram should be enough?
