Whenever I open up my browser, it starts with a blank page. Does anyone know how to fix the problem because I set Google to be my homepage?

One thing you could try is to create a new profile in Firefox. If the profile manager doesn't show up when you click on the icon, you can add a "-P" (no quotes and after the quotes for the path to the executable. This would tell you if it is a problem with your current profile.

How do you do that?

Is it a blank page or is it a "cannot connect" page? Because the Firefox update made my Antivirus block it from the firewall.

Blank page, but I already fixed the problem. I did it by uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.
