i know its defaulted at 48hz, but is that just the 4k? i want to buy this cheap beast, and i would probably constantly have it on 1080p. would this make it possible for it to reach 60hz, and thereby 60fps?
so the refresh rate is bottlenecked to 48 by the display itself? i assumed it was limited because of the 4k resolution only?
for example with hdmi on a normal monitor you can get 1440p at 30hz OR 1080p and below at 60hz. on a 60hz monitor at least. so the question is, what is the bottleneck in this equation?
There is a FullHD model. Then the laptop will be cheaper (with the FHD model). If you want to run 1080p all the time, why buy a 4K model?
Because the FHD monitor sucks, with low contrast, terrible angles and bad saturation.
The UHD is an IPS panel and is worth the upgrade, even if using it in 1080P.
