Hi, I have bought a new laptop and wondering what sort of temperature I should be expecting from the GTX 860M when gaming, I'm currently getting 78 Degrees on the GPU when in-game maxing out all settings. What is the max temp for the GTX 860M and what would you consider a safe temperature?

Thanks.

Hey, I have the a GTX 860m 4GB Maxwell. Now I have Overclocked mine to +135 Core and +500 Memory and my max temps after 5 hours of gaming is 72 Degrees. I've never gone past that since I got my Lenovo Ideapad y50 last year and it's been Overclocked nearly all the time since. I used to be able to get +1000 memory at one point but nvidia has prevented me going that high with one of their driver updates. Anyway I live in Dubai and my desk is extremely dusty, along with the AC being broken and my room being 37 degrees, so I'd expect my temps to be the highest.... Didn't expect this at all. I have a YouTube channel, NemesisTechBoy. Check there for videos, I'm gonna start pushing some in the next few days for people to compare their own benchmarks and temps to mine

I have an ASUS G750JM with a 2gb 860m. I have tried to but I can not get it to rise past 65 degrees even running GTA V on high settings, which this card can not handle anyways, its pretty laggy, but still cool as can be! It runs this game better with medium settings, but either way it seems ASUS did a sweet job keeping their 860m cards cool.
