Hello I'm thinking to get HP Probook 450 G1 I5 4200m, I have two options either with dedicated gpu or without it. Considering I have no such use that requires intensive gpu usage. Which one should I get ? Also I have heard that the ones with dedicated gpus get dead early and they generate more heat and less battery backup.

You could get the one with the GPU then, just keep in mind it will use slightly more power than the integrated solution. If maximizing your battery life is important, go integrated. Otherwise it wouldn't hurt to get the GPU variant if the price is very similar. What gpu is it, by the way?

If you're not going to use it, don't worry about getting it. Integrated Intel HD graphics are more than enough for your everyday web surfing, videos, office work. Why pay extra for something you're not going to take any significant advantage of?
