Today I bought a Creative Audigy Fx sound card. My problem is that it only plays sound through the two front speakers in Youtube, itunes, etc. When I used the tester in Creative's sound blaster control panel, I got sound through all of my speakers. If you have a fix, I would greatly appreciate it.
(I'm in Windows 8, by the way.)

Hello,

For standard music and for most things on youtube, it's recorded/saved as stereo and you should only be hearing the left and right channels, so it's being played correctly.

However there may be an option in the creative software that lets you run it in "virtual surround or matrixed" which will send it to all you speakers. Someone more versed in creative's driver may be able to help you better (and tell you if there is even the option of doing this) but I figured I could at least point you in a direction to look.

I know itunes is able to use 5.1 surround, because I used it all the time with my motherboard's on-board audio, and I have search the creative software a lot, but there could be something I'm missing, thanks for the reply though.
