Hi, Does anyone know any high end tablet/laptop 2 in 1's?

I have had the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 for a year now and it's almost perfect, but size isn't an issue so having a full size laptop that can convert into a tablet would be ideal.

Only thing i have seen with the power and style I require is not out yet... and that is the Acer Aspire r13 - http://www.engadget.com/products/acer/aspire/r13/

The Acer and Lenovo would likely be competing at the same price range and specs, except you can get the Lenovo now. The Lenovo also has a higher resolution screen (3200x1800). The articles I was able to find on the r13/r14 cite up to i7 processors but no broadwell, just like the Yoga 2 Pro. The only advantage I was able to see was that the R14 will have an nvidia graphics option, but it's still low-powered and that model will be stuck with a 1366x768 display for some reason. If you want to wait and see what the reviews are like for the acer then feel free, but I wouldn't buy it given Acer's track record. Customer service may be good now, but they aren't entitled to do anything once the warranty period is up.

Lenovo has their Yoga 2 Pro line if you want to check those out, they're in a 13" screen size and have 4th gen i7 in them. No discrete graphics but I doubt you'll find that in a tablet form. Here's their top-line model: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/yoga-laptop-series/yoga-laptop-2-pro/?sb=:000001C9:0001245B:

Also, the Surface Pro 3 has a larger screen. You'd be paying a premium for their top end model though, almost $1800. Considering Lenovo's current back to school deals, it's an excellent value right now even for their top-line model.

Only thing thats making me want the r13 or r14 is the fact that they are both high end 2 in 1's for what they are!

Reliability isn't too much of an issue, I would be getting it from John Lewis, they are brilliant with customer service.

intel already canceled laptop broadwell. It will be released to oem's briefly on a limited basis to clear out the little stock they have then vanish. Apparently intel is having huge yield issues with their 14nm process, so they're simply canceling the whole broadwell mobile series, and are going to skip to skylake.

the rumor is they're doing something similar on the desktop, however they're pushing broadwell back 10 months and will release it in conjunction with skylake. THAT rumor i just saw today... apparently the performance issues they're suffering on 14nm are serious and they're even talking about skylake being slower then broadwell.
