T.V. no signal from laptop

Make sure the laptop is set to display video to the TV. Go into your screen resolution settings and look for the option to extend, clone, or make the output your only display. You may also have an fn key that does this automatically for you (on my laptop it is fn + f8). the win key plus P may also work.
