My laptops battery doesn't charge, sometimes. It will run while plugged in but it will only charge for about 15 seconds after being plugged in and then it will stop. I replaced the battery once and it worked for about a week with no problems and then the same issue happened. Is my computer just frying batteries or something?

Are you using the original power cord that came with the laptop? alot of cheap aftermarket cords are not rated for the right power, which causes over-voltage and frys batteries.

I had the same problem with my laptop. I dont have the bookmark on my desktop, but what worked for me was restarting the laptop a few times and letting the battery pack completely cool and drain itself of excess power. do that by ulplugging from the wall while still plugged into the powered on laptop till the led indicator on the pack goes out, if it has one. let it sit for like 5-10 min and cool. restart the laptop one or two times. that worked for me, i dont know how, but it did. it may be that, or the connection socket between the charging port might be messed up. was the laptop damaged recently?

Never damaged. I take pretty good care of it. I will give this a shot. The weirdest thing is that it stopped working and I didn't use it for awhile cause I was just too busy to mess with it and one day I started her up and it was fine. Then it started again.
