I need a machine that will handle all of the Adobe programs, video editing /creation software plus my normal business programs - most Office products. I am new to the idea of building a computer and am seeking some advice. I want a powerful machine that I won't outgrow within the next 24 months or more, if possible. A few things I definitely want are:Windows 7 64-bit, SSD high performance, 24GB+ RAM, 1TB HD, 8-Core Processor (thinking AMD FX-9730), 4- 3.0 USB, 1 HDMI, Wi-Fi, nVidia GeForce GTX750 Ti 2GB DDR5 2-DVI/HDMI PCI-EXP Video Card or better, ability to use dual monitors (not sure if that should be built in or an add-on,) 750 watt+ high performance power supply, as much cooling as would be practical. I built one on ComputerLX.com but I have no idea if what I built is realistic or not. **I have copy/pasted what I put together on that site below. Suggestions HIGHLY appreciated as I have no clue.

This is what I put together for you...

Slightly more expensive, but the 4770k is a more powerful processor (despite 6 physical cores), you'll benefit from a copy of windows which actually supports that much RAM, the 760 is a faster GPU, and its all quality components. You can definitely run two monitors. If you post this build and ask people to optimize it, they might also have some suggestions. I didn't add a wifi card, but you can... the 750D case is a nice case; plenty of cooling. Two 140s intaking, you put the cpu rad on top exhausting, and another 140 in the rear exhausting. Do you really need a modem?!

Hmmm... I honestly don't know if Windows 7 supports 32 gigs. Back to google on that one! Thanks for the great question. That is the type of question I would not have even thought to ask

Oh Wow! Thank you 'Enthusiast!' Nope, I probably don't have any use for a modem now that you mention it. I was just going down the list of drop down options.
