Hello.

I have a question about FurMark ( the GPU stress tester.)
I am wondering if FurMark can damage my GPU or even my CPU.
My GPU is XFX Radeon HD7870 Double Dissipation and never hits over 80°C
The highest it got is 78°C whilst playing Space Engineers for 5 hours on MAX settings.
Is it safe to run FurMark and how long should it run???
Also how hot can my GPU get before it gets too hot and can break??

Thanks in advance

You'd only use it to test an overclock. Don't use it otherwise.

At about 95C your GPU will shutdown.
