I want to wipe my laptop and I realised that if I do I would lose MS Office 2013. Does anyone know how I can keep it (I know there is a way)? I have Windows 8.1 and it is Office Home and Student. I do not have any documentaton of owning it so no product code.

pcworld looks to be an online website similar to our newegg in the usa, which does keep track of orders for quit some time (i can still pull up my orders from 2004)

you likely have a username and password to log in. once you log in go you your account... if the site is anything like our newegg then you should have a history of past orders you can sift through and print receipts for.

if you checked out as a guest (no login details) or if they do not have a user checkable history then you can do exactly that... ask them about a receipt and what they need to look up your order in their systems. you can even call them up here
You can speak to a member of our Sales Team on 0344 561 0000 . They are available:

Monday to Friday: 8am - 8pm...

Tom's Hardware does not support ILLEGAL / PIRATED software. If you do NOT have the key for it, then you need to buy one either from a store or from Microsoft Online.

It's not illegal I just lost the receipt

easy there tom... unless proven guilty we should assume innocence although your caution is noted.

how did you purchase it? depending on how there are various ways your key could have come http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/find-your-product-key-for-office-2013-office-365-home-office-365-personal-office-365-university-HA102830243.aspx

if you purchased it retail then typically they can print you out a receipt even if you bought it years ago (the wonders of computers)

if you purchased it online they can do the same... or you may have an email with information on this.

to answer your question, "yes" there are ways to get your product key without needing to find that information however such things could potentially be used in a harmful manner which is why we are cautious about recommending anything but the official channels. i can however point you towards a google search http://bit.ly/Z1tzFl which may be of assistance.

I got my MS Office from PC World in the UK when I bought my laptop as a bundle. How would I get a receipt printed out? I can'tjust ask them to print me a receipt.

Customer Service and Care Plan support can be reached on 0344 561 1234 and is available:

since you bought it from an e-tailer.....

if you bought a retail copy you should still have the disk... and the product key is with the disk.

if you bought a download copy then you should have an email with the product key attached

if office came preinstalled on your laptop then it should by law have the product key for office on the microsoft sticker on the bottom of your laptop.

ultimately its the product key that you want... a receipt is only going to be useful for providing info needed if you had microsoft try to look up your product key for you since they will ask about a receipt in this case. (but this would only help if it was a download copy). in all other cases a receipt isnt going to be of much use likely.
