I got a new laptop and was wondering if I could just swap out the HDD with a SSD completely and reinstall the OS that it came with?
I remember reading that i should reinstall the OS completely when switching to SSD but not sure that if I will be able to do that and if possible is there anything else I would need to know before going through with this.
Further information:
Laptop: Lenovo G505s
Old HDD: 1TB
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
What should I look into before doing this? If this is possible to do?
