Hello Tom's Hardware,

I'm currently deciding between two laptops and need help which one is the best for my use.
I'll use this laptop for schoolwork, Microsoft office, Autodesk autocad and Inventor (CAD programs). The bigger CAD drawings will be made on a desktop.

The two laptops, both are 15,6";
1. TOSHIBA SATELLITE L50-A-1DF
i7-4700MQ
GT 740M
6 GB RAM
1366x768p screen size

2. HP PAVILION 15-P035ND
i5-4210U
GT 840M
8 GB RAM
1920x1080p screen size

I can't chose yet because I don't know if a 1366x768p screen will be bad and/or the i5 will be too slow for Autodesk Inventor?

Which one would you guys recommend me?

Thanks

Solution
It won't really be that noticeable imk, laptop cpus oerform the same in terms of i5 and i7, the better ram will help with multitasking and higher res is just better

The difference between the CPU's would that be noticeable? or does the more RAM and higher res be better?
