Fiio E07k with Powered Speaker EQ settings

I recently got an E07k as a present and was wondering if its better to tune the EQ on the e07k or on the Edifier r1280t to maximize sound quality. Sorry for my bad english.

Both have bass and treble control not full EQ. I would use the Edifer controls since they would be optimized to make correction to the speakers. You might want to use the E07k tone controls to make corrections for specific music and leave the controls on the speakers just to tune those for all your music.
