Hello everyone, I've been having some serious problems with my Windows Media Player. I have

Windows 7 64-bit OS
8 gb of RAM
AMD FX (tm)-4130 Quad-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 graphics card
ST2000DM 001-1CH164 SATA Hard Drive
AsRock Motherboard
Most recent/updated version of Windows Media Player

Just to get the specs out of the way, anywho, my WMP is absolutely horrific in terms of performance. It seems to always want to give me trouble and never wants to work the way it should. I'm pretty sure WMP was always a very buggy/glitchy program, but in any case I would at least like to find some fixes for my problems.

Problem #1: The first issue that I find happening that is probably the most irritating is that my player does not like to play music very well. Whenever I click a song, sometimes it will say, "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file." It will open the song and immediately halt when this happens. This is an issue with many of my songs, some songs work, while others do not. It is frustrating because this never used to happen, and WMP would always play any kind of MP3 file, no matter what it was.

Problem # 2: Sometimes when I try to play a song, it won't even respond. I will click the song numerous times, and the player will just become unresponsive. Then, sometimes it will display a "Server Execution Failure" warning or something and it won't allow me to play the song.
