How to remove drawer on HP Microsoft on CD Rom top drawer

I broke a CD inside my dc/dvd drive top drawer and need to remove the drawer so I can get all of the pierces out. It is trying to close but a piece of the CD is blocking it.

Turn off the computer. There should be a small hole in the front of the drive. This is the manual release for the tray. A very small screw driver, or a straightened paper clip are usually the best to stick in there. It will open the tray enough for you to get your fingers around to pull it out.
