Hi, frist of all i'm Italian and i search a Notebook available in my country.
1. What is your budget? $350 - $400
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I prefer a 15.6 inch screen
3. What screen resolution do you want? 1920x1080 or better
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? It needs to be very fast at running applications such as Rhino, Photoshop, After Effects, Autocad, and a few others
5. How much battery life do you need? The more the better, but I am fine with charging once a day if I need to. I'll be using it around 8 hours a day
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? Low, MAX medium setting.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Photoshop is a must, video editing occasionally, but mostly 3d applications like Autocad or Rhino
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? Not much. I have plenty of externals, I'd actually prefer an SSD (if possible)
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. NO
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? I'd like one that lasts 5 years NO
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Very basic, a dvd drive is pretty much it
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
No preference as long as the computer is powerful and runs smooth.
