ASUS 15.6-Inch HD Dual-Core 2.16GHz Laptop, 500GB and Optical Drive
This will be a temporary laptop for me to use for homeschooling and once I get my gaming laptop i will give this laptop to my mom.
I just want to know if it can run World of Warcraft and on what settings? How will raids run? fps? high, ultra?

Solution
If you want to play WoW, even temporarily, then do not buy the Asus Transformer Book T100 or any netbook using Intel's Bay Trail generation Atom CPU. The current generation Atom CPU is much more powerful than the previous generation, but it is not exactly meant for playing games, but it should be doable using low settings.

However, when we played "World of Warcraft" at default settings, the tablet managed an unplayable 19 frames per second, well below the 28 fps category average. With the effects turned up, the number dropped to a slideshowlike 7 fps, half the 15 fps category average. We couldn't even...

Yes this will run on medium as it is a laptop and don't get mixed up with the system requirements on the official website as it is for PC. So medium at maybe about 50+FPS maybe a few drops if you have a reasonable GPU. And that's comes to the question what's your GPU?

Not sure what it is, you can try googling the laptop and see what it is. I just want to be able to run WoW for a while until i get my gaming laptop. I dont want to pay more than 400 because i wont be using it for a long tome and dont want to waste money. You can also suggest another laptop in my price range that can run WoW on pretty decent to good settings if you know of any. Much appreciated.

Then like you said for temporary use, then it should be fine mate. Don't worry about another laptop, stay with that and save up then get a gaming laptop. Hope this helps.

It too sure about raids. But it should handle about 30-50+FPS, but I may be wrong. This is according to the internet. Just try out the game is the only way to have an accurate decision.

Obviously yours is packed with power, so go with your if it has a touch screen. That's why I said I don't need to search for any more laptops. Your will do temporarily.

We couldn't even attempt to play "World of Warcraft" on older Atom-based tablets like the Iconia W3-810 or Lenovo ThinkPad tablet, but the bottom line is that you should stick to Windows Store and online games. - See more at: http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/tablets/asus-transformer-book-t100#sthash.PMvWAHJ7.dpuf

Here is a link to a Youtube video of various games played on the Asus T100 including WoW:

"You call WoW playable, but it's not playable in raids. My FPS was at 4 while fighting simple trash"

"well, it isn't meant to be played on a mobile device. But in case you are traveling and get bored, you can simply do quests on that."
